The Prince William County Branch of the NAACP is formally investigating an incident at Gainesville Middle School involving a student, who alleged that he was subjected to repeated racial harassment by his peers, including being called a racial slur and experiencing ongoing racially hostile language.

The NAACP takes allegations of racial discrimination and harassment in educational settings with the utmost seriousness.
