Prince William NAACP in partnership with the Pi Lambda Lambda chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the other ‘Devine 9’ organizations conducted our annual Juneteenth event on June 16, 2018.The celebration began with volunteers cleaning the Slave cemetery adjacent to the celebration site and was followed by a family styled community picnic.
The event was a big success thanks to the many supporters, volunteers, and guests who joined in the festivities.

Celebration begins at 9:00am with Slave Cemetery Cleanup activities followed at 11:00am by a picnic that is open to all! Come out and help celebrate this important event.
Virginia will hold Primary Elections on June 12th. Polls are open from 6am to 7pm. Check in to make sure you are registered to vote in the elections on November 6, 2018.
The family of Marcus-David Peters has called for a “MARCH FOR JUSTICE & REFORMATION” this Saturday, June 2, starting at 1 pm outside the VCU Siegel Center at 1200 W. Broad St. and ending at Richmond Police Department headquarters at 200 W. Grace St. A city permit has been obtained and the march will take place, rain or shine.
