NextGen is a 12-month leadership development training program for NAACP members between the ages of 21 and 35. The NextGen curriculum focuses on leadership development but also includes training in legislative action, advocacy and program planning consistent with the six NAACP Game Changer areas – Economic Sustainability, Education, Health, Criminal Justice, Civic Engagement and Youth Engagement. WOMEN IN THE NAACP (WIN)

WIN is one of the 21 Standing Committees in our local NAACP unit.  WIN’s purpose is to (1) enhance the leadership role of women; (2) to serve as an advocacy vehicle to address the social, economic, political, educational, health and welfare issues affecting women; (3) to advocate for the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual development of children and (4) to support the policies as well as the on-going mission and vision of the NAACP.
